moments that unfold naturally throughout the day, the quiet glances, shared laughter, and meaningful details that often go unnoticed in the moment.

My style is clean, timeless, and guided by natural light, with the intention that your photographs feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today. Rather than overly posed images, I aim to capture how your day truly felt.

Being invited into such an important chapter of your life is something I don’t take lightly. My goal is to create images that preserve the joy you’ve built together and become part of your family’s story for years to come.

Experience

Your wedding photographs are one of the few things that last long after the day itself. They hold the moments you felt but may not have fully seen, the quiet exchanges, the laughter, and the connections that make your wedding uniquely yours.

Experience plays a meaningful role in preserving those moments. From understanding timelines and light to knowing when to step in and when to quietly observe, my approach is designed to keep your day feeling natural and unhurried. My goal is for you to feel present, relaxed, and confident, knowing your story is being documented with care, intention, and respect.

Add Your Optional Engagement Session

$475 (optional)

Up to one hour is set aside for your engagement session, where we’ll create some  beautiful images for your save-the-dates, invitations, wedding website, guest book, and of course, a few favorites for sharing with friends and family.

You’ll receive approximately 50–100 high-resolution images from this session. It’s also a chance for us to work together before your wedding day, get comfortable in front of the camera, and build that familiarity so everything feels easy and natural when the big day arrives.

Prints & Fine Art Heirloom Albums

Decisions about albums and artwork are typically made after your wedding, once you’ve seen your photographs in full. There’s no obligation to purchase anything additional, though albums can certainly be added ahead of time if you’d like.

I want you to experience your images before committing to prints or wall art. These pieces are an investment, and my goal is for you to feel completely confident and genuinely excited about what you choose.

Don't Want the Extras?

That’s absolutely fine. My goal is for you to choose only what truly fits your needs. The only thing required to reserve your wedding date is securing the booking itself.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so dates are reserved as contracts and retainers are received. Whenever you’re ready, I’d be happy to officially hold your date on my calendar.

Q: So, What's the Investment?

A: Totally Your Call!

Lia + Noah

Grosse pte. shores, mi

I truthfully don't know how to put into words how at ease team Jen made us and all of our wedding guests feel. They took photos of not just of us, but so many amazing moments of people we absolutely love and were so glad we are able to share the memories of our wedding with not only us but with all of our friends and family. We never felt uncomfortable or that they weren't doing the job we paid them to do. They truly went above and beyond all expectations. We did not have a videographer, and I do not regret it one bit. The still moments that were captured are so treasured and mean so much more to us than video.

Common FAQs

Q: How many weddings have you photographed?

A: I’ve photographed well over 500 weddings as the lead photographer and more than 800 portrait sessions. With nearly two decades in the industry, I bring a calm, experienced approach to every wedding day and a strong understanding of how to document it thoughtfully, efficiently, and with intention.

Q: How would you describe your approach on a wedding day?

A: My approach is calm, observant, and intentional. I’m there to document what’s happening naturally while making sure you feel supported and at ease throughout the day. I pay close attention to the flow of events, light, and moments unfolding around you so nothing meaningful is missed.

I step in when guidance is helpful and step back when it’s not. The goal is for your day to feel like your wedding, not a photoshoot, while still creating images that feel refined, emotional, and timeless.

Q: How much guidance do you give with posing?

A: Most couples want to look their best without feeling stiff or overly posed, and that’s exactly how I approach it. I give clear, gentle direction to help you feel comfortable and confident, then allow space for natural interaction to happen.

Rather than placing you into rigid poses, I focus on subtle guidance, movement, and prompts that result in images that feel effortless and authentic. You’ll never be left wondering what to do, but you also won’t feel micromanaged or forced into anything that doesn’t feel like you.

Q: Do I need a second photographer?

A: Not every wedding requires a second photographer, and I’m very comfortable photographing a wedding on my own. That said, there are situations where adding one makes practical sense.

During our consultation, we’ll walk through your timeline together and talk through what coverage will best serve you. A second photographer can be especially helpful with overlapping moments, larger guest counts, or when multiple perspectives add value during key parts of the day, such as the ceremony.

My goal is to guide you toward what fits your wedding best, not to recommend coverage you don’t actually need.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?

A: Yes, I do offer payment plans. A $500 retainer is due at booking, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your wedding day. If spreading payments out leading up to the wedding is more comfortable, I’m happy to set up a schedule that works for you once the retainer is in place.

Q: What happens if you have an emergency on our wedding day?

A: In the extremely unlikely event of an emergency that prevents me from being there personally, I have a vetted network of trusted professional photographers with comparable shooting and editing styles who can step in seamlessly. I would remain involved in overseeing your coverage and the final images.

In my nearly two decades of photographing weddings full time, I’ve never missed a wedding or arrived late. Your day is handled with care, planning, and backup at every level.

Q: Do I need an engagement session?

A: It really depends on what you want out of the experience. Engagement photos can be used for save-the-dates, invitations, your wedding website, guest books, framed displays at your celebration, and in your home. They’re also great for sharing with friends and family.

Beyond the photos themselves, an engagement session gives you a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day and helps us get to know each other a bit. That familiarity can make a big difference when everything feels fast-paced on the wedding day. I personally recommend it, not because it’s “required,” but because it adds to the overall experience of being engaged. It’s one of the few times in this process that’s just about the two of you, without a timeline attached.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use?

A: I photograph weddings using Sony mirrorless cameras paired with professional G Master lenses. My cameras feature dual memory card slots, meaning every image is recorded to two cards simultaneously. While failures are rare, redundancy is essential when documenting something this important.

I also come fully prepared with professional lighting, modifiers, and backup equipment so I can adapt seamlessly to any environment and deliver consistent, high-quality images throughout the day.

Q: Do you offer any albums, prints, canvases, guest books, etc?

A: Yes, I do offer prints, canvases, albums, and custom guest books. I intentionally wait until after your gallery is delivered so you can see your images in full before deciding what you’d like to invest in.

All print orders can be placed directly through your online gallery, and albums and guest books are designed collaboratively to ensure the final piece feels timeless and personal. Everything is created with longevity in mind, so what you choose is something you’ll be proud to display and pass down.

Q: How long have you been a photographer?

A: Photography has been part of my life since childhood, starting with an early love of shooting on 35mm film. That passion led me to study photography and graphic design in college, where I began shaping what would become my career. I photographed my first wedding in 2006 and have been working continuously in the industry ever since.

Over the years, what began as a creative interest has grown into a career rooted in experience, consistency, and a deep love of documenting meaningful moments. I’m beyond grateful to do work that allows me to capture and celebrate my clients on one of the most important days of their lives.

Q: How do I book you for my wedding day?

A: To officially reserve your wedding date, a signed contract and a $500 retainer are required. Once booked, you’ll receive access to a private client portal where everything is kept in one place, including your contract, invoice, communication, and print release.

From there, I handle the details so the process stays organized, calm, and easy for you.
